Believers are called by God to live in eternity now. That means we are not living for this life only, but are preparing for eternity. Having the perspective of eternity allows us to live the kind of life that has eternal benefits. By living like the Lord Jesus Christ, we please God and earn rewards in Heaven.
The word ‘adoption’ then deals not with a Christian’s relationship to God but their position before God. Adoption is an act of God whereby He accepts the justified believer as an adult son who can enjoy the privileges and responsibilities of a son of God.
For them, “the way of Jesus” means standing up for the marginalized, the poor and the oppressed in demonstrative ways. I’ve also noticed more local activists using this language to encourage modeling the way Jesus himself did these kinds of things, including being present with the poor.
“And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.” – 2 Corinthians 6:18. “To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive adoption as sons.” – Galatians 4:5.
Ephesians 1:5 “God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great delight.” The story of the Bible is the story of adoption. We are all adopted into God’s spiritual family as a chosen child of God.
In propitiation, the wrath of God is satisfied. God’s wrath is satisfied by the sacrificial death of Jesus. Jesus dies in our place (sacrifices His life) and takes our punishment (God’s wrath and eternal death and separation from God).
He wants us to experience incredible, life-changing love, mercy, and compassion not only from him, but from those around us. And he wants us to show that love to others. … The call to love is often difficult, but it’s also a reminder of how God loves us: relentlessly, completely, and without expectation of return.
Here’s the answer: God loves you, not because of who you are or what you’ve done. God loves you because of who he is. When we doubt God’s love for us, it’s inevitably because we’re taking our eyes off him and focusing on ourselves — our insecurities, shortcomings, sins and insignificance.
Another reason why Jesus was a Great Teacher is that he loved people. … So even though he was a very wise and important man, Jesus took time to teach little children so as to make them happy. He told his disciples to be humble as small children are. As a Great Teacher, he knew how to make things interesting to people.
The five of the teachings of Jesus are the following: Be Merciful (Luke 6:36, Matthew 5:7, Forgiveness (Luke6: 37), Seek Goodness (Luke 6:45), Respect Others (Luke 14:11), and Be Kind (Luke 6:31). Be Merciful (Luke 6:31). Forgiveness of kind especially toward our enemy. …

It is an attribute of God that is most manifest in the salvation of sinners.
Theological usage of the term “atonement” refers to a cluster of ideas in the Old Testament that center on the cleansing of impurity (which needs to be done to prevent God from leaving the Temple), and to New Testament notions that “Christ died for our sins” (1 Corinthians 15:3) and that “we were reconciled to God …
